Love the ladies that work here! They are quick and efficient. I love that they sometimes take the time to cook for us too, it's nice of them. The food is good. The restaurant feels like a traditional kbbq set up, not the fancy or American styled restaurants. The long tables are separated by an acrylic so you may sit next to another party.
Fast paced, great quality KBBQ with great service with reasonable pricing! We reserved a table for 4 in advance and were seated probably around 10 minutes after our time because they were so busy. The staff took our orders ahead of time so by the time we were seated, the meat and banchan was already there. We loved the flexibility of cooking between both the staff and ourselves, they were very attentive and would stop by at just the right time to cook and serve. The banchan was all the essentials and the staff asked often if we wanted it refilled which was nice. We got the Special-C, and ordered the brisket, beef belly, Kalbi, and pork belly. The kalbi came to the table cooked which was great because we could eat it as the other meats cooked. The seafood pancake that comes with the set was crispy and seasoned a little on the lighter side but paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. We also added on the beef soft tofu soup which was excellent and well worth to share. Like mentioned earlier, the food and staff move fast here, but they were all so friendly and helpful! The special C was perfect for 4 adults and we left feeling absolutely stuffed. Would definitely recommend it to any who want a casual, family style KBBQ experience in the Bay Area. Shoutout to our wonderful server Jinnie who took great care of us! :)
Service was good. The ajumeoni was really nice and attentive. Got Special C. My favorite part was the beef tofu soup, seafood pancake, kimchi banchan, and beef belly(in ssam with ssamjang+kimchi) Choices chosen were beef belly, brisket, bulgogi, and small intestines, kimchi fried rice, and added beef tofu soup. I didn't realize it also came with cheese corn and steamed egg pot, so it was a pleasant surprise. Only thing I actually didn't like was the bulgogi. It was bland and not marinated. Shop was kind of small, but casual and comfortable.
3.5 stars Our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) had dinner here a few days ago, it was the first time for me and hubby, a very different experience ; we were told that this is the 'LA style'. From the start, we were asked to pick the combo meals based on total number of the party at the entrance, it took some negotiations to finally settle on a four and a two person combos plus a couple orders of seafood tofu soups. They were pushing for the larger combos. Our table was ready with the banchan and bottles of water before we were seated, waitresses were running around bringing the cooked meats, cooking in batches on the grill the big pile of sliced of raw beef, later the seafood pancakes, tofu soups and etc. The banchans were good with many varieties (8+) , the Galbi and seafood pancakes were smaller in portion but OK since we had multiple orders; the tofu soup was flavorful from the mussels but no egg which was a little disappointing for me. We all ate a lot and still took home a good amount of leftovers. Kids liked the yogurt drinks at the end. Overall it's reasonably priced for the amount of food received although quality of the food was just OK. The dining experience is a bit too hectic / rushed than I would liked. We did enjoy having the new experience.
A pretty great place for Korean bbq. We paid around $119 for four meat options which included appetizers, rice, seafood pancakes, and we were even given probiotic drinks at the end of our meal. They provide plenty of meat and my party of four would've been satisfied with three. The meat is also good quality. The chicken that they serve to you cooked is also very well marinated and tasty. The service was incredible, the staff were extremely friendly and extremely accommodating.
One of my favorite kbbq places in the bay! It's not AYCE but I still love it. The banchan at this restaurant is some of my absolute favorite, the japchae, braised potato, fish cakes.. all so good! You can also make a reservation here if you have a big group, which is what I did for a birthday celebration and they had us seated pretty quickly! Only thing is your whole group needs to be there before you get seated. A favorite of mine and I'll be coming back!!
